Wow..what an exciting weekend we had. Friday night about 5 inches of snow fell here in Sumter, South Carolina. The last time we saw snow is when we lived in Germany. The last time it snowed in Sumter was 10 years ago. The snow did not last long. Once the sun came out it started to melt quickly. The kids played in the snow until there was nothing left. I thought it was comical that my husband took the truck to get the oiled changed and the garage where he usually takes it was closed. The roads were clear so I am not sure why establishments were shut down?
Of course I stayed nice in warm in the house. Snowy cold evenings and wet slushy days are best spent drinking hot tea and sewing!! Bring on the sun!!
